was a great stone house near Lancaster County in PA. These stone buildings are classic of PA
architecture. This painting symbolizes a lot of what I love
about the buildings in PA.

is the Meyer’s Dairy Farm off of Atherton Street in State College, PA. Got to love their ice cream! This red barn is iconic for the area and it
is nice to be reminded of bright spring days as we head into winter…

is a house that I am having an “art love affair” with. I have painted and sketched this house a
number of times and can’t get enough. It
is a good thing I did too, because it has now changed owners and has been
remodeled. It is not as good as it was,
but at least they did not tear it down…

This
is of course the iconic Park City Barn (McPolin Barn) in Park City, UT. I remember this day vividly. I was painting with my friends from the Utah
Watercolor Society on a very cold day, it was 9 degrees! I was basically painting with slush. We had so much fun, despite the
temperatures. However, I did have to
take this home to finish it so that it would dry….

I
love this painting. It reminds me of the
wonderful fall seasons in Park City, UT.
This was near my house in Summit Park.
I don’t remember the name of the park, but people would bring their dogs
to walk all of the time. It was a great
place! It was also a good place to run
your kids…

This
painting reminds me of a beautiful day.
I was painting again with some friends from the Utah Watercolor
Society. We were painting at the top of
Ogden Canyon. It had fresh snow from the
night before, but was a beautiful, sunny morning. The snow glistened and the temperature was
perfect, not too cold. I could have
stayed there all day!

This
barn is in the Heber Valley. I painted
this during one of the Wasatch Plein Air Paradise Competitions. I was painting with my favorite painting
buddy, Kristi Grussendorf. It was a
wonderfully warm evening. It was a
little hot until the sun had gone down, but it was worth it. Another good summer painting to keep the cold
of winter at bay…
